In the spreadsheet and worksheet you pick when you build the action. Column names are read live from row 1, so each field goes into the column you chose — and a column you add later turns up in the mapping without reconnecting.

Yes. Every one of your form fields is offered against every column in your header row, and anything you leave unmapped is simply left blank. Connect an AI agent and it will propose the whole mapping for you to check.

Not if you use Add or Update Row. Pick the column to match on — email is the usual one — and the flow rewrites that row when it finds a match, and appends a new one when it does not.

Yes. Put a Filter step between the trigger and the Google Sheets action, and only submissions matching your conditions carry on. Everything else stops there and is recorded in Sync Logs as filtered.

The run is recorded in Sync Logs as failed with the error Google returned, and the submission is still saved in WordPress. Once the problem is fixed you resync that run in one click — nothing has to be re-entered by hand.

No. The flow runs on your own WordPress site and talks to Google Sheets directly. The OAuth token is encrypted in your database, and there is no middleman service holding a copy of your data.
